March 23, 2026 | 12:30–18:00 JST
Online
Abstract of the event theme
AI-HYDRO FUTURES is an international workshop that brings together researchers from hydrology, artificial intelligence, and climate science to forge a new interdisciplinary research network. The event explores how cutting-edge AI technologies—such as machine learning, symbolic AI, and remote sensing—can be leveraged to enhance flood prediction, climate risk modeling, and sustainable water resource management. With participants from Japan, Iran, Egypt, and Oman, this workshop fosters collaborative innovation aimed at developing practical, scalable solutions for climate resilience in water systems. The initiative serves as a platform to share knowledge, identify emerging challenges, and set a future research agenda at the intersection of environmental science and artificial intelligence.
